Hosted by the Gender and Disability Workforce Development Program and Women's Health Capacity Building Program of Women with Disabilities Victoria, this one-hour session provides an online space that highlights how gender and disability-based discrimination intersects and increases the likelihood of women with disabilities experiencing violence. We will be showcasing our resources along with discussions with women with lived experience on prevention of violence against women with disabilities.
What: Launch of four new resources that are about preventing violence against women with disabilities

Why: Because our long awaited resources are ready for public consumption and we are excited to share them with you!
Who for: Health and Social Service professionals, Disability Sector, Women’s services, Violence Prevention and Response practitioners. Professionals in who work in the disability, social services and prevention sectors.
How much: There is no cost to attend, however booking is essential.
How: Online via Zoom
The launch will provide details about each resource and be discussed by a panel of people involved in the design of the resources. There will also be time for questions and discussion. You’ll also learn about ways to use the resources and about other program offerings of the Gender and Disability Workforce Development program.
