SPECIAL ONLINE HUB EVENT: Cervical Cancer Screening - Awareness and Education Session

Women with Disabilities Victoria warmly invites you to join our Special Online Leadership Hub meeting on Cervical Cancer Screening Awareness!

Our Online Hub is a space for women and gender diverse people to connect, share and grow together. Whether you're attending to learn something new, meet like-minded people, or just explore ideas, you're in the right place.

This upcoming meeting is a special free education session that will provide participants with practical information about cervical screening, including:

• What to expect during the screening process
• Ways to make appointments more accessible and comfortable
• Healthcare rights and self-advocacy
• Support to book a cervical screening appointment if they choose

Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions and speak with a sexual health nurse in a supportive environment. This event is funded by the Cancer Council Victoria.

Date: Wednesday 9^th September 2026 
Time: 6:00-7:30pm
Location: Online (Zoom link sent via email upon registering)
Cost: Free

Please register to attend before 5:30PM (at the latest) on the 9th of September. Registering for this session does not automatically register you for future meetings.
